ADAM BARR is a recovering lawyer; a 25-year veteran of the golf industry (primarily as a print and TV journalist); an actor and singer with a lively, wide-ranging baritone voice – and a lifelong lover of books and reading. His studies with prominent audiobook veterans Johnny Heller and Shannon Parks have helped him focus on well-crafted characters rather than just bare words on the page.

 

It has been his good fortune to travel from courtrooms to board rooms to bar rooms from Tokyo to Toronto, Melbourne to Milwaukee, Los Angeles to London and beyond – and to observe the world’s most engaging characters in every place.

 

“The canny traveler doesn’t just visit a destination. He lives there, be it for days or months,” Adam says. “It’s no different for a perceptive actor and the characters he inhabits.”

Adam lives in Philadelphia, where he rows on the Schuylkill River whenever he can and creates glorious messes in the kitchen when he can't.
